We plan, permit and build accessory dwelling units for homeowners in Charlotte and nearby Mecklenburg County towns. Licensed & insured.
What do we do?
We build backyard cottages, garage conversions, in-law suites and garage apartments. Design and permits come with every build, so one team carries the project from zoning to the certificate of occupancy.
Where do we work?
Charlotte, Matthews, Huntersville, Mint Hill and Pineville. We are a service-area business with no walk-in office; we meet you at the property.
How do we work?
- Rules before plans. We confirm what your town allows before any design fee.
- A written, itemized quote. Every major cost on its own line, before you sign.
- Honest feasibility. If the lot will not take the unit you want, we say so.
- Sourced guides. Every rule we cite is dated and attributed.
What licensing and insurance do you carry?
Yes. ADU Craft Charlotte is licensed & insured. North Carolina licenses general contractors through the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors, and our license and insurance details are part of every written proposal.
